Background: Lens trauma is commonly found among school- children (mainly boys) aged 5-15 years. The timing of surgery important for visual rehabilitation, it also to consider in a child, whom amblyopia concern. Ultrasound Biomicroscopy (UBM) can be used as an effective diagnostic tool. biometry the anterior segment measured by UBM systems that encompass entire segment. This allows preoperative evaluation position sulcus plane before cataract surgery, facilitating estimation postoperative intraocular lens position.Aim Work: purpose current work investigate causes, clinical aspects and outcome pediatric trauma. Patients Methods: prospective, randomized study included 40 eyes patients with eye coming Tanta University Eye Hospital. During period from September 2018 August 2019. Their age ranged between 2 18 years old. All this subjected following: Full history taking, general examinations precautions if polytrauma, full ophthalmic examination. Investigation were done indicated (Orbital imaging, Biomicroscopy) examination contralateral eye.Results: Our prospective (25 males 15 females). majority our (67.5%) more than 6 most prevalent cause was blunt which represented 62.5%.
